(Please note: the Seattle Pop-Up closed on July 7, 2019)

When you think of Seattle, Washington, what’s the first thing that pops up in your mind? The Space Needle? Naturally, it’s a must-see. But now, for a limited time, you can add Glossier to your to-do list when visiting the Emerald City! The Glossier Pop-Up in Seattle will be open until July 7, 2019.

the décor inside the store: those are real flowers

I recently learned about the American skincare and makeup company, and after using their Bubblewrap and Mint Balm Dotcom, I’ve become a Glossier fan! So it was a delightful surprise and coincidence that I happened to arrive in Seattle for vacation within days of Glossier opening their spring pop-up shop there!

It was fun to test the products and meet friendly Glossier employees who were glam in pink overalls and toting iPads. Inside the store, they played French pop music by Belgian singer, Angèle.

I got a Mango Balm Dotcom ($12) and a Milky Jelly Cleanser face wash ($9 for the 2 fl. oz/ 60 ml bottle)

While Glossier products make you look good, their corporate social responsibility efforts will make you feel good, too.

For example, they provided complimentary postcards with wildflower seeds in them. After you plant the postcard, you’ll have flowers that will support the ecosystem by providing food for pollinators, like bees.

For $15, you can get their Seattle-exclusive water bottle (16.9 fl. oz/ 500ml) and refill it to reduce waste going to the landfill.

For each BPA-free water bottle sold, Glossier donates $5 to Mary’s Place, a shelter for women, children, and families in Seattle.

It felt good to know that Glossier gives back to the local community!
