Bonjour! I got this week’s carte postale from an online shop.
These sand dunes are in the Erg Chigaga desert, located about 30 miles/ 48 km from the oasis town of M’Hamid El Ghizlane, Morocco in North Africa, near the Algerian border. It’s about an 8-hour drive from Marrakech. Visitors can take tours of the sand dunes by camel and 4×4 vehicles.
I’d like to see these sand dunes in person one day! 🐪
Until the next Wednesday Postcard, à bientôt!
For more information:
A little scary, but I guess I’d give it a go.
Cheers,
Carolyn

What do you find scary? Wind? Sand? Camel? Or something else…?

All that sand. I’d be scared of being stranded.

Good point. I wonder if that’s ever happened to tour groups. Hope not!
