Bonjour! This week’s carte postale features St. Peter’s Church in Zurich, Switzerland. Of all the tower clocks in Europe, St. Peter’s has the largest clock face measuring 8.7 meters/ 28.5 feet in diameter!
Fun fact: Since there are four national languages, the city’s name is spelled several ways:
- Zürich/Züri/Zuerich (German)
- Zurich (French)
- Zurigo (Italian)
- Turitg (Romansh)

Until the next Wednesday Postcard, à bientôt!
Switzerland is definitely at the top my bucket list.
Wonderful postcard.
Cheers,
Carolyn

If I ever (or never) get to visit Switzerland, I’d be OK. I’m neutral 😉 😉Which part of Switzerland would you like to visit?

I would like to visit the little villages throughout the Alps. I would take a train ride. I don’t know how to ski, but would still like to visit some of the ski resorts.
