Wednesday Postcard: Le Chauffaud, France

Bonjour (or should I say meuh) !

This week’s carte postale features an old farm in the village of Le Chauffaud. It’s located near the Swiss border, in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France.

In this undated postcard, dairy cows graze and enjoy the sunshine in front of the vieille ferme!

  • It’s now an historic monument

Until the next Wednesday Postcard, stay safe! 🐮

  1. How bucolic! It’s true that the countryside becomes lush with snow-capped mountains, the closer you venture towards the French-Swiss border. This photo reminds me of the cows I saw during a hike around Chambéry a couple of years ago. Really lovely! ❤
