Do you like parks and photography? Check out this free photo contest that I recently learned about through the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy!
My Park Moment Photo Contest
The My Park Moment Photo Contest is an opportunity for anyone to share a photo of their favorite outdoor park experience.
This fall, 400 photos will be selected for a free and family-friendly outdoor photo show in the Presidio in San Francisco. There’s also an opportunity for photographers to win an award for their visual stories!
This contest is open to anyone, anywhere – it’s not just for professional photographers. They want to see you having fun in your favorite park. They will accept selfies, pictures of you with your family, friends, or enjoying a park by yourself.
The contest is a way to celebrate the upcoming opening of Presidio Tunnel Tops, which opens in spring 2022! It’s a new attraction within the Presidio national park site that’s built on top of the Presidio Parkway tunnels. It will connect the historic center of the Presidio to the park’s Crissy Field waterfront.
The photo contest and exhibition are produced in collaboration with Photoville on behalf of the Presidio Tunnel Tops. Photoville is a non-profit organization that works to increase access to the art of photography and visual storytelling by producing free photo festivals and public exhibitions across the globe.
How to Enter
To enter, submit a photo of your favorite park memory (family picnic, a visit to Alcatraz, a camping trip to Yosemite, a hike in the Presidio, or anything else you love to do in parks) to My Park Moment Photo Contest by May 28, 2021. Good luck/bonne chance! 📸
