Yes, I’m from Generation X and I unapologetically tune in each Wednesday to watch a coming-of-age show about the life of a young adult woman (Belly) involved in a complicated love triangle with two brothers (Conrad & Jeremiah)!
The show is based on the trilogy of books, The Summer I Turned Pretty, by American author, Jenny Han. Since my younger daughter has read the books, she lets me know if something on the show was in the books or not. For example, in the books, Belly spends a year abroad in Spain. But on the show, she spends only a semester abroad… in France. (This Francophile approves!)
The trailer (below) shows Belly in a métro station, then looking up at Sacré-Cœur, along with images of Canal St-Martin, the dome of the Hôtel des Invalides, and more.

Sounds like an interesting show. I spent a semester of college abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France and it was one of the best times of my life. No love triangles, though. 😜
