Poem: Où vas-tu, humanité ?

Où vas-tu, humanité ?

c'est jugée une « maladie mentale » quand on entend des voix dans la tête 
c’est un super pouvoir d’entendre les hautes fréquences !
et ne vénère-t-on pas les super-héros ?
on veut croire en quelque chose
parce qu’on ne peut pas croire en l'humanité
on est incapable d'accepter cette diversité
on manque de compassion
on est incapable d'écouter attentivement
donc, on est surpris, horrifié

Where are you going, humanity?

it’s a so-called “mental illness” when one hears voices
but hearing high frequencies is a superpower!
and don’t we worship superheroes?
we want something to believe in
because humanity ain’t it
we are unable to embrace this diversity
we lack compassion
we’re incapable of truly listening
so, we’re surprised, horrified
