Bonjour ! This week’s carte postale features the Three Brothers rock formation located in California’s Yosemite National Park.

Three Brothers is located east of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley and consists of Eagle Peak (Upper Brother), Middle, and Lower Brothers.
Thanks to my younger daughter’s best friend for sending me this postcard! About her impressions of Yosemite, she writes, “One destination that truly amazed me was Glacier Point. I was thousands of feet up in elevation; it felt surreal. The view was just as breathtaking as seeing Half Dome.”
For more information, visit Yosemite Conservancy and Yosemite – National Park Service.

Over the years, I have accumulated hundreds of postcards from around the world, which I’ve either purchased from my local antique shops or received from thoughtful family and friends who know I collect them. When I travel, I also like to send myself a carte postale just for fun!
I hope these postcards inspire you to revisit a favorite vacation spot or embark on a journey to the destination of your dreams.
Have you been to the destination featured? Tell me about your experience there – I’d love to hear all about it!
Thanks for reading Bonjour: A Francophile Blog!

I haven’t been to Yosemite in years, since I was a kid. This postcard brings back memories. Thanks for sharing, Darlene!

Same here. It’s been a number of years since I’ve been to Yosemite, but this postcard reminds me of the park’s natural beauty. Thanks for reading, Rebecca!
