I learned about the Emily in Paris year-long collaboration with Bath & Body Works from an Instagram reel by none other than one of the Emily in Paris main characters, the beautiful and talented Ashley Park, who plays Mindy on the hit Netflix series about the adventures of an American marketing professional in the City of Light (played by the beautiful and talented Lily Collins).

“Bonjour Blossom” is a rosy color, “Parisian Pearl” is a nude shade, and “Rouge Romance” is a bold red

As a Francophile and devoted fan of the TV series, I couldn’t help but be delighted by this French-inspired collection! Let’s start with the collection’s clever names. The scents are called Champagne in Paris, Paris Amour, Lavender Luxe, and Macaron Cloud. The lipstick shades are named Bonjour Blossom, Parisian Pearl, and Rouge Romance.

Bath & Body Works describes its exclusive scents this way:

Champagne in Paris, a brand-new fragrance created specifically for the partnership, features notes of champagne spritz, elderberry fizz, and lily of the valley. The rose icon on the packaging is a nod to one of Emily’s iconic costumes from the series’ newest installment, season four.

Paris Amour, a customer-favorite scent, which originally debuted in 2011, is making a limited-time return for this launch. The fragrance icon features notes of French tulips, apple blossoms, and sparkling pink champagne, and the Parisian skyline design celebrates the setting and namesake of the show.

Lavender Luxe was inspired by the iconic lavender fields from season three and brings a botanical fragrance to the collection with notes of Lavande de Provence, flirtatious jasmine, and vanilla crush. The houndstooth pattern within the design was a pattern prominently seen in the first season.

Macaron Cloud features notes of macaron delight, Parisian spun sugar, and pink berries and brings to life the essence of a French pâtisserie, from the yummy aroma to the macaron icons scattered across the packaging.

I bought four items from the collection: the mini body cream in Macaron Cloud, and one each of the three creamy lipsticks (each tube is 0.13 oz/ 3.69 g). Each tube is priced at $12.95, but thanks to their limited-time special offer on the day I went, each tube was just $2.95 – practically a steal!

Of the four scents, I enjoyed Champagne in Paris and Macaron Cloud the most. At $8.95 for each 2.5 oz/70 g tube of body cream, I decided to pick one. Between the two of them, I chose Macaron Cloud. The tiebreaker? The package design!

For starters, I love how “macaron cloud” is written in all lowercase cursive (a disappearing art form, if you ask me!) The sea foam shade works well with the rose-gold text, including script that says, “it’s like wearing poetry.” (Not sure what that means, but just like poetry, it’s open to interpretation, which I love!) Finally, it has ‘Bonjour’ written on the tube in bold, black capital letters. It’s as if this product was made for my blog and me! (A girl can dream…)

Bonjour sweet vanilla scent!

The bottle is made with 82% recycled plastic. The body cream is vegan, made without parabens or artificial dyes, and it’s not tested on animals. Main ingredients include shea butter and hyaluronic acid for ultimate hydration. After one use, I can attest to its moisturizing quality without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling.

The Emily in Paris collection also includes candles, hand soaps, fragrance mists, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, and fun accessories.

These items would make great gifts for you and all the Francophiles you know! 🩷
