What’s it about?

In 1760, Guillaume le Gentil, a real-life astronomer to King Louis XV, set out for the oceans of India to document the transit of Venus. In 2012, estate agent Xavier Lemercier finds Guillaume’s telescope in a property he’s sold. As he looks out across the rooftops of Paris, he discovers an intriguing woman through her window. Then one day she walks into his office and his life changes forever. 🦓

The novel, which is translated from French by Louise Rogers Lalaurie and Megan Jones, will be published by Gallic Books on June 27, 2023 in the U.S. and you could win a copy!
